The average market price of graphite electrode is 23464 yuan/ton, down 0.00% from the same period last week, down 4.09% from the same period last month, down 4.09% from the beginning of the year, and up 11.36% from the same period last year.
According to statistics, the output of 48 domestic graphite electrode enterprises in December 2022 was 55400 tons, about 0.3% lower than that in November 2022, and 28.05% lower than that in the same period last year. Among them, 5500 tons of ordinary power, 11600 tons of high power and 38200 tons of ultra-high power. In December, the overall output of graphite electrode continued to decrease, and some graphite electrode enterprises continued to control production and change production.
This week, China’s graphite electrode inventory was at a medium-low level. Before the Spring Festival, the graphite electrode enterprises had limited production, and no pressure on the accumulated inventory. Some graphite electrode enterprises said that the small and medium-sized ultra-high power graphite electrode was basically out of stock, while the large graphite electrode was still in stock.
According to customs statistics, China’s graphite electrode export volume in December 2022 was 29400 tons, up 14.43% month-on-month and down 15% year-on-year; From January to December 2022, China’s total export of graphite electrode was 343600 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 19.38%. In December 2022, China’s graphite electrodes are mainly exported to Russia, South Korea and the United States.
