What is the raw material of your graphite electrode?

Shida uses the high-quality needle coke imported from USA,Japan and UK.

Which sizes and ranges of graphite electrode do you produce?

Currently, Shida mainly produces high quality graphite electrodes from UHP500mm (UHP20”) to UHP700mm (UHP28”) which are capable for using in Electric Arc Furnace. The large diameters, such as UHP700,UHP650 and UHP600, get good feedback from our customers.

Shida Carbon Graphite Electrode Advantages

1. Low Specific Electrical Resistivity. The low specific resistivity of graphite electrode will allow the maximum current carrying capability without overheating of the electrode rod.

2. High Bulk Density. The higher bulk density will have good performance in mechanical properties

3. High bending strength. Higher bending strength will reduce the electrode breakage frequency.

4. Low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE). The lower CTE will make better resistance of thermal shock, and CTE compatibility between the electrode rod and the nipple is very important for excellent performance of the connecting.
